Question for today: Are you humbly yielding to God’s mighty power? Lord, may we honor and reverence you. May we yield our will to your power and wisdom. Thank you for loving me.

We don’t brag about having wisdom because it comes from God. Our Lord’s wisdom in us is evident by the way we live. Thank you, Lord, for generously sharing your wisdom with those who ask. Give us the wisdom to live Godly lives and humbly help others.
Yielding to Jesus
This verse came up in Sunday’s sermon. Oh, the humility of John, deferring attention from himself to his Savior. Father, make me humble like John, always bringing the attention to the Lamb of God, the one who has saved me and gifts me with so many wonderful spiritual gifts. Praise God!
Humility
Imagining Jesus washing his disciples’ feet is so humbling. What a beautiful example of being a servant to others. Thank you, Father, for this amazing example of how we should treat others. Give us an attitude of humility, both toward others and toward You. Show us how to lovingly serve others.
Choices
Every morning as I prepare for my day, I decide what to wear. Looking in my closet, I have choices. Do I wear a skirt today? Slacks? Jeans? What top coordinates with the skirt or pants?
